Become an Approved Training Provider
What a training organization needs to have its courses certified by ISA.

| Course content | Course materials mapped to ISA learning outcomes for the course type and standard. Reviewed by ISA before approval. |
| Duration | Lead Auditor and Lead Implementer: 40 hours over 5 days. Internal Auditor: 16 hours. Foundation and Transition: 8 hours. |
| Examination | Written exam set by the provider and approved by ISA. Supervised with identity check. One resit allowed with different questions. |
| Tutors | Lead tutors must be qualified lead auditors in the standard, with train the trainer qualification and recent audit experience. |
| Class size | Maximum 16 participants in a classroom, 12 in a virtual classroom. |
| Attendance | 100% attendance required for a Certificate of Achievement. |
| Records | Participant results uploaded to ISA within 30 days of the course. Records kept for at least 5 years. |
| Certificates | One page, with participant name, course code, dates, unique certificate number, provider name, authorized signature, ISA training mark and verification QR code. |
| Surveillance | Office audit every year, observation of a course, and full renewal every 3 years. |
